Due to the full neoprene lining and stitched in sole, thick socks are generally not needed in most conditions.

These are exactly what I needed for out in the field! They’re shockingly warm when walking around in icy pools of water. I’m really impressed with how solid and durable they feel. I am also delighted with the color and the style. They’re the bright red boots I’ve always wanted.
I had to order a size up due to availability and had a bit too much moving space, but was able to get some insoles that solved the trouble. With them the boots fit snug against my feet and I’m not sliding around anymore! But that means the sizing is also precise, and the lining is warm enough that you don’t need to size up for puffy socks.
